Samrat Chaudhary inaugurated a multimedia facility at Ramrekha Ghat in Buxar.

This project has been developed under the ‘Assistance to Central Agencies for Tourism Infrastructure Development’ scheme, approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and has been implemented by BECIL—a ‘Miniratna’ CPSE under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. By harmonizing modern technology with cultural presentation, this BECIL project showcases the rich heritage and spiritual significance of Ramrekha Ghat, while simultaneously working to enrich tourism and the visitor experience in the region. This initiative marks a significant step toward promoting Bihar’s cultural heritage and empowering the tourism sector through innovative, world-class infrastructure. Speaking about the project, Commodore D.K. Murli (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director of BECIL, stated, “This project reflects BECIL’s commitment to the preservation and promotion of India’s rich cultural heritage through innovative and technology-driven solutions. This initiative at Ramrekha Ghat is a pivotal step toward strengthening tourism infrastructure while presenting Bihar’s timeless heritage in a modern and engaging format.” Present on this occasion were the Honorable Minister for Animal & Fisheries Resources / Dairy Development, Government of Bihar, Nand Kishore Ram; the Honorable Minister for Tourism, Government of Bihar, Kedar Prasad Gupta; former Union Minister of State Ashwini Kumar Choubey; Buxar MLA Anand Mishra; District Magistrate Sahila (IAS); and BECIL’s Deputy General Manager, Bipin B. Pandey.
