Governor Arif Mohammad Khan visits native village of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
Patna. Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan visited native village of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and paid tribute to his mother Parmeshwari Devi on her death anniversary. Khan, along with Chief Minister Kunar, also visited the memorial garden at Kalyan Bigha in Harnaut block of Nalanda district. According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office here, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Kaviraj Ram Lakhan Singh Smriti Vatika in his native village Kalyan Bigha, Harnaut on the occasion of the death anniversary of his mother late Parmeshwari Devi and paid floral tribute to her by offering flowers to her statue.” Along with this, the Chief Minister also paid tribute by offering flowers to the statue of his father late Kaviraj Ram Lakhan Singh and his wife late Manju Sinha. Chief Minister’s elder brother Satish Kumar, son Nishant Kumar and close relatives also paid tribute. According to the statement, newly appointed Governor of Bihar Arif Mohammad Khan also paid tribute by offering flowers to the statue of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s mother late Parmeshwari Devi ji. On this occasion, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, MP Kaushlendra Kumar, MLAs Jitendra Kumar and Kaushal Kishore, Legislative Councilors Sanjay Kumar Singh alias Gandhiji and Lalan Sarraf, Chief Minister’s Secretary Kumar Ravi along with other senior officials and many social and political workers were present.
