Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav took aim at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday amidst the ongoing power crisis, questioning the state government’s action plan. He asserted that the BJP has lost all its vigor. In a post, the SP chief raised the question of whether Uttar Pradesh’s Energy Minister, Arvind Kumar Sharma, was invited to Chief Minister Adityanath’s review meetings, noting that the two ministers are rarely seen together. Hinting at internal discord within the party, Yadav remarked that BJP MLAs and MPs have written letters against their own government. He also took a jibe at the Chief Minister for refraining\u2014for once\u2014from attributing the energy crisis to a “conspiracy hatched by an emissary sent by the people of Delhi.” Expressing dismay over the power cuts, he alleged that the government is attempting to evade public outrage by deploying personnel from the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) at electricity substations.
