The aviation company said in a statement issued late Thursday night, &#8220;We are sad to inform that out of the 242 people on board, 241 have been confirmed dead.&#8221; The statement said that the only survivor is a British citizen of Indian origin and is being treated in the hospital. Air India&#8217;s London-bound plane crashed into a medical college campus here minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday afternoon.
