Pawar was cremated today with full state honors at the grounds of Vidya Pratishthan College, an institution established by the Pawar family. In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Shah said, “Paid heartfelt tributes to Ajit Pawar ji after having his last darshan. The untimely demise of Ajit Pawar ji, who was dedicated to society and the people, has created a void in Maharashtra politics that will be difficult to fill for a long time.” The accident occurred near Baramati airport while the plane was attempting to land.
