Government’s mission is to make Karnataka the skill capital of India: Siddaramaiah
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Tuesday that his government aims to make Karnataka the skill capital of India and a trillion-dollar economy by 2032, relying on “talent, technology, and perseverance.” He said the state has set ambitious targets to skill 3 million youth by 2032, increase female enrollment in ITIs to 33 percent, double the district-level skill capacity, and strengthen global placement linkages through the International Migration Centre-Karnataka (IMC-K). Siddaramaiah made these remarks at the inauguration of the Bengaluru Skills Summit 2025 here.
