Amit Shah chairs meeting to address waterlogging in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency

Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a meeting on Tuesday to discuss measures to address the waterlogging problem in his constituency, Gandhinagar. Shah, who is on a visit to Gujarat, said he has directed officials to address the waterlogging problem in his constituency within the next few years. An official release stated that officials presented an action plan to address the problem at a meeting in the state capital. Shah reviewed the presentation and issued necessary instructions. Later, at an event in Kalol town, Shah said, “Instructions have been given to officials to address the waterlogging problem in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. This problem will be largely resolved by next year.” The Union Minister also inaugurated or laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹114 crore in Kalol town, Gandhinagar district. Later, a Bharatiya Janata Party release stated that the Home Minister visited his hometown of Mansa and offered prayers at the Maa Bahuchar Temple.
