Pasting posters in Delhi will be costly.

Amidst the ongoing cleanliness drive in Delhi, Delhi Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Inderaj Singh on Tuesday warned of action against those pasting posters on public walls. Speaking to ANI, Singh welcomed the announcement made earlier in the day by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Singh said that the people of Delhi have been asked to keep the walls of Delhi clean and well-maintained so that it looks neat and tidy. In this regard, the Chief Minister said that no one should put up their own posters. If anyone does so, action can be taken against them. This is a good initiative and very necessary. Meanwhile, Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Virendra Sachdeva said that cleanliness drives were carried out at 33 locations in the national capital. He urged citizens to keep the city clean. Sachdeva told ANI, “As part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, today we are making a small effort to beautify Delhi at 33 locations, together with all the citizens of Delhi and our sanitation workers. This should be an integral part of all our lives; every citizen of Delhi should understand this. This is our Delhi, so let us all come together to keep it clean.” This cleanliness drive has been organised under the Seva Pakhwada initiative.
