Engineers will continue to play a key role in building a developed India: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted technology experts on the occasion of Engineer’s Day and said they will continue to play a key role in the collective efforts to build a “developed India”. The day is celebrated as a tribute to the contribution of engineers and also to commemorate the birth anniversary of renowned civil engineer and administrator M. Visvesvaraya. In a post on ‘X’, Modi said, “Today on Engineer’s Day, I pay tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, whose brilliance has left an indelible mark on India’s engineering landscape. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the engineers who, through their creativity and determination, are driving innovation and taking on difficult challenges in various fields.” He said, “Our engineers will continue to play a key role in the collective efforts to build a developed India.
