Amit Shah said- Naxalism will end from the whole country

A top Maoist leader with a bounty of Rs one crore and two other senior Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand on Monday morning. The slain commander has been identified as Sahdev Soren, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Maoist). He was one of the most wanted Maoist leaders of eastern India. At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah termed this action as a major success in the anti-Naxal operation. Amit Shah tweeted that Naxalism has been completely wiped out from the Bokaro region of North Jharkhand. Soon the whole country will be free from the problem of Naxalism. He wrote on Twitter that today a joint team of CRPF’s Cobra Battalion and state police has got a major success in the anti-Naxal operation in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. In this operation, CCM Sahdev Soren alias Parvesh, a Naxalite commander with a bounty of Rs one crore, has been killed. Apart from this, two other reward-carrying Naxalites – Raghunath Hembram alias Chanchal and Birsen Ganjhu alias Ramkhelavan – have also been killed by the security forces. After this operation, Naxalism has been completely wiped out from the Bokaro region of North Jharkhand. Soon the whole country will be free from the problem of Naxalism. According to Jharkhand Police, based on specific intelligence, the Cobra Battalion, Giridih Police and Hazaribagh Police conducted a joint operation. The firing started at around 6 am in Karandi village of Tatijharia police station area near the Giridih-Bokaro border. Two other Maoist leaders Raghunath Hembram alias Chanchal, a Rs 25 lakh reward-carrying member of the Bihar-Jharkhand Special Area Committee, and Birsen Ganjhu alias Ramkhelavan, a Rs 10 lakh reward-carrying zonal committee member, were also killed in the encounter. After the encounter, the security forces recovered the bodies of the three militants. Officials said that the search operation is still going on in the forest area.
