The higher the flight of daughters, the brighter will be the future of India: Scindia
Union Communications and North Eastern Region Development Minister and Guna MP Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said in a program organized in Ashoknagar that now practices like Pradhanpati, Sarpanchpati, District Panchayat Pati and Adhyakshapati will have to be abolished and women will have to take their rights in their own hands. In fact, today the Union Minister launched Reva Shakti Abhiyan, Hriday Yojana and Ekal Seva Portal in Ashoknagar on Thursday. On this occasion, Scindia criticized these practices that push women to the second line and called for a resolution to give women their real rights. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of daughters to women and said that a daughter is not only the responsibility of the family, but the identity of the whole society. When a daughter is born, she shapes the future of not only the house but the whole society. He also underlined the benefits that the region will get from Ekal Seva Portal, Hriday Yojana and Reva Shakti Abhiyan and said that these schemes will create a new definition of good governance in the region. Scindia, mentioning the main objective of Reva Shakti Abhiyan, said that daughters are not a burden, but a blessing. Under this campaign, families with only one or two daughters in the district have been registered. They are being given special digital cards, registered families will get facilities like discount in education fees, priority in health services, scholarship, concession in rent and social respect. This will give a strong platform to daughters to study and move forward. It is known that a big target has been set to eliminate malnutrition under this campaign in Ashoknagar district. So far 4,700 malnourished children were identified, out of which the target has been set to make 4,400 children well-nourished. Scindia said that it is our resolve that every child in the district should be fully well-nourished and lead a healthy life.
