Will present more explosive evidence on vote theft in future: Rahul Gandhi
Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday reiterated his allegations of vote theft against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and claimed that in future he will present more dynamic explosive evidence in this regard. Responding to a question about the Special Intensive Review (SIR), Gandhi told reporters, “Vote theft has taken place in the elections of Maharashtra, Haryana and Karnataka. We have given black and white evidence. In the coming time, we will give more dynamic evidence.” The Congress MP said that the slogan of ‘Vote chor, gaddi chhod’ is now echoing across the country. He said, “We will show you, youth of India, listen, this is the truth and governments are being formed by stealing.” Gandhi told reporters, “We guarantee that we will give you proof.” The Congress leader took a dig at BJP leaders and said, “BJP leaders who are getting agitated, don’t get agitated. When the hydrogen bomb comes, everything will be clear.” Rahul Gandhi chaired the meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) here in Rae Bareli on Thursday. Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency, chaired the meeting at the Savings Bhawan auditorium in the Collectorate. Many public representatives, including Amethi MP KL Sharma and Uttar Pradesh government’s Minister of State Dinesh Pratap Singh, attended the meeting.
