BJP’s corruption is ruining public order: Rahul

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday alleged that people are suffering the brunt of the ruining public order due to the “corruption” of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing some bridge accidents and other major accidents that took place during the monsoon. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said in a Facebook post, “The monsoon came and swept away your tax money, in the filth of BJP’s corruption. Every time a bridge collapses, every time a road is washed away, every time a train derails, understand that it is not just a failure of construction, it is an organised loot from your pocket.” He said that every time a loved one dies in an accident and no one is held responsible, it is not an accident, it is murder. Citing some recent major accidents, he said, “Every day, every year, people from small villages to big cities in India are suffering the brunt of this deteriorating public system.” He said, “Now the time has come to demand answers from the government. It is time to hold them accountable for their failure and force them to take responsibility for its consequences.
