Rahul Gandhi speaks Pakistan-like language on foreign policy… Kiren Rijiju attacks Congress leader

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju took a dig at Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament and advised him not to speak anything anti-national or against the country. Rijiju questioned Gandhi’s motive behind attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi over foreign policy and said that the opposition also has a role in doing good work for the country. He said that Rahul Gandhi criticizing the Prime Minister on the country’s foreign policy will not do the country any good. The opposition also has a role in the development of the country. There will be discussion in Parliament, but there should be no two opinions on foreign policy. Accusing the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha of using the language of Pakistan, the Union Minister said that the way Gandhi tries to mislead people on foreign policy, it harms the country. He further said that during the Congress government, we did not attack the Prime Minister separately on foreign policy. The way Rahul Gandhi tries to mislead people on foreign policy by speaking the language of Pakistan harms the country. We will advise him that being the leader of the opposition, he should not say anything anti-national. Rijiju’s remarks came a day after Rahul Gandhi attacked External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar over his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He claimed that he was running a “fully spread circus” aimed at ruining India’s foreign policy. Other Congress leaders also targeted Jaishankar and pointed out how China gave full support to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Gandhi wrote on X, “I think the Chinese Foreign Minister will come and apprise (Prime Minister) Modi about the recent developments in China-India relations. The Foreign Minister is now running a big circus aimed at ruining India’s foreign policy.” At the same time, Congress MP KC Venugopal said that foreign affairs should be discussed in this Parliament session. Last time also we had told the government. If they want to expose Rahul Gandhi, they should do it in Parliament. There should be a discussion.
