Delhi CM inaugurates her office in Civil Lines

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday inaugurated her new camp office ‘Jan Seva Sadan’ on Raj Niwas Marg in the Civil Lines area. The Public Works Department has allotted two bungalows to Gupta on the same road, one of which will be her residence and the other her office. Delhi Law Minister Kapil Mishra said the chief minister will hold public hearings at the Jan Seva Sadan. Mishra also claimed that this is the first time that the Delhi Chief Minister’s office is being opened to the public. A havan was performed to mark the inauguration of the office, which was attended by Gupta and her family. Renovation work is underway at the second bungalow which will be her official residence. She currently lives in Shalimar Bagh in north Delhi.
