Kharge asks PM Modi to stop self-praise and distance himself from election campaign

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public speeches after Operation Sindoor, urged him to focus on the enemy instead of self-praise and distance himself from election campaign. Addressing reporters in Bengaluru, Kharge said, “I do not like to react to all his (Modi’s) statements. But my only request to him is that people in power should keep their mouth shut sometimes.” Questioning the Prime Minister’s recent public statements and political activities, Kharge suggested that Modi should temporarily step away from election campaign.
