Prashant Kishore lashed out at Nitish, told people – vote for education, employment and good governance
Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore is on a Badlaav Yatra in Bihar. On Thursday, he held two public meetings in Ekma assembly constituency of Saran district and reiterated his call for ‘complete system change’ in Bihar. These meetings were held at Janata Bazar Sports Ground in Lahladpur block and Lachhu Baram Baba Ground in Karanpura of Amadhi. Speaking to the media, Prashant Kishore launched a scathing attack on Health Minister Mangal Pandey and said that we do not recognize him as the Health Minister of Bihar. When lakhs of people were walking home during Covid-19, Mangal Pandey was missing. People should remember this betrayal. Mangal Pandey is being criticized after the rat bite incident at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in Patna a few days ago. Before addressing the public, Kishore went to Gopaleshwar Nath Dham, where the locals symbolically weighed him with laddus, which shows the enthusiasm and support of the public. He also took a dig at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging that he worries for farmers only during elections. Kishor also said that Nitish Kumar has been in power for two decades and still farmers do not get a fair price for their crops. Kishor condemned the rampant corruption in basic services like issuing ration cards and land receipts and blamed both bureaucrats and politicians. He said that leaders and officials are openly taking bribes while the common people are suffering. He appealed to the voters to reject corrupt leadership. He said that next time, do not vote by looking at the face of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Nitish Kumar or PM Modi. Vote by looking at the future of your children. Vote for education, employment and people’s rule in Bihar. Kishor’s Jan Suraj Abhiyan is gaining momentum across the state, with a strong anti-incumbency tone.
