BJP slams opposition leader and ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’ Rahul Gandhi over his statement on IAF jets

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday slammed Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi over a social media post in which he questioned how many IAF jets were lost during Operation Sindoor. The BJP accused him of making reckless statements that could compromise national security. At a press conference, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia alleged that Gandhi’s comments were being used by Pakistan to target India and demoralise the armed forces. He questioned whether the Congress leader stood with India or its opponents, asking whether Rahul Gandhi was acting as the leader of the opposition or as Pakistan’s “Nishan-e-Pakistan”. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that today the country is asking Rahul Gandhi. It is legitimate to have differences with the Prime Minister, it is part of democracy.
