Officials said that an unidentified projectile fell in a residential area in Kangniwal village of Jalandhar district. Local residents said that a migrant laborer was injured in the incident, while some houses in the area were also damaged. They said that parts of the unknown object are lying in the area. A woman from the area said, “I was standing near the window, when around 1.30 am late night, something hit the water tank (of the house), due to which the glass of four to five houses broke.” He said that a migrant laborer has suffered an injury in the hand, who was taken to the hospital. Local resident Satinder Kumar said, “The water tank of our house has been damaged, while the glass of many windows broke. There was smoke all around.”
