Why are you naming these jokers? Owaisi got angry on hearing Shahid Afridi’s name
AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi got angry on the comment of former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi after the Pahalgam attack. Responding to the media’s question, he said who is he? Why are you naming these jokers in front of me? Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi blamed the Indian Army for the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam and said that they are unable to protect civilians from terrorists. The former all-rounder’s remarks came nearly a week after 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed. It was the deadliest terror attack on civilians on Indian soil after the 26/11 attacks in 2008. Earlier, Owaisi launched a scathing attack on Pakistan over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir and said that they have acted like ISIS by killing the citizens of the country on their soil. Addressing a rally in Maharashtra’s Parbhani, Owaisi further said that Pakistan cannot claim to be a nuclear power and then kill innocent people without any consequences. “Pakistan always talks about being a nuclear power; they should remember that if they enter a country and kill innocent people, that country will not sit quiet. Whatever the government, what ‘Deen’ are you talking about by killing our people on our land and targeting them on the basis of religion? … You have acted like ISIS,” Owaisi said, according to news agency ANI.
