Surrendered like a slave, Stalin took a dig at AIADMK’s entry into NDA
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin launched a scathing attack on the AIADMK and the BJP after Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed their alliance to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Stalin described the new alliance as a corrupt alliance of defeat. Stalin, in a sharp statement, accused the AIADMK of mortgaging the state to avoid central raids. He said that those who had mortgaged the AIADMK for fear of just two raids are now trying to mortgage the entire Tamil Nadu. Stalin said that the AIADMK is being forced and the BJP leadership has a well-planned plan to block the progress of the Tamil people through various conspiracies. Stalin wrote in a statement, AIADMK, which has long surrendered itself like an old bonded slave camp. These conspiracies are being forced by threats of implementation. Whether the BJP comes alone or with allies, the people of Tamil Nadu are ready to teach a fitting lesson. The people will give a befitting reply to the traitorous alliance that has come to its knees in Delhi without any self-respect and is trying to mortgage Tamil Nadu. “This election will be led by Narendra Modi at the national level and EPS and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu,” Shah said while announcing the alliance on April 11. The announcement formally revived the alliance but it also triggered sharp reactions from opposition leaders.
