Vadhavan port in Maharashtra will be operational by 2030: Ajit Pawar

The Finance Minister said, “The Vadhavan port being built in Palghar will be operational by 2030.” He said that there is a proposal to build a third airport for Mumbai near the Vadhavan port. Apart from this, a station of Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train will also be built near this port. He said that Maharashtra’s new industrial policy will focus on investment of Rs 40 lakh crore and creation of 50 lakh jobs. Pawar said in his budget speech that the Mumbai Metropolitan Region is being developed as a growth center and its economy will be $ 1.5 trillion by 2047. He also said that Maharashtra will have a new health and senior citizens policy. Pawar also announced in his budget speech that the facility of night landing of aircraft will start at Shirdi airport soon. He also said that domestic flights will operate from Navi Mumbai International Airport from next month. He said that 85 percent of its work has been completed and tests have also been done successfully. Pawar said the metro service will connect Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport with the Navi Mumbai International Airport.
