Survey the local conditions of the river for a permanent solution to the flood: Chief Minister

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed to study the local conditions of the river for a permanent solution to the flood problem in the state. While reviewing the flood related projects on Friday, the Chief Minister issued the relevant instructions. According to a statement issued in this regard, the Chief Minister directed that proper information about the local conditions should be obtained by conducting drone surveys of all the rivers. While reviewing the ongoing preparations in view of flood management and safety of life with senior officials of the government level, the Chief Minister also reviewed the updated status of flood prone/sensitive districts, completed and pending projects. The Chief Minister directed that the remaining work of the projects scheduled for the current session should be completed within the stipulated time on priority basis.
