Daughters are God’s gift, an extension of values: Yogi Adityanath

Congratulating the ‘National Girl Child Day’ on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that daughters are God’s gift, an extension of values. In his congratulatory message posted on ‘X’, Chief Minister Yogi said that “Daughters are God’s gift, an extension of values.” In the same post, he said, “Today on the occasion of ‘National Girl Child Day’, greetings to all mothers and sisters and hearty congratulations to the people of the state!” Yogi assured, “The double engine government is always with the mother power as a ‘suraksha kavach’. Your progress, development and your empowerment is our commitment.” ‘National Girl Child Day’ is celebrated every year on 24 January in India, which was started by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in the year 2008. The Modi government launched its ambitious ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme on 22 January in 2015 to increase the child sex ratio and empower girls through various initiatives.
