Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday extended his best wishes on the beginning of Maha Kumbh, which he described as a confluence of cultures and a message of unity in diversity. Maha Kumbh Mela began on Monday with Paush Purnima bath. According to the fair officer, by 8 am, more than 40 lakh people took a holy dip in the Sangam and Ganga. Adityanath wrote on ‘X’, “Greetings on Paush Purnima. The world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering ‘Mahakumbh’ is starting from today in the holy city of Prayagraj. All the revered saints, Kalpavasis, devotees who have come to experience unity in diversity, for meditation and holy bath at the confluence of faith and modernity are heartily welcome. May Maa Ganga fulfill all your wishes.” He said, “Best wishes for the beginning and first bath of Maha Kumbh Prayagraj. Sanatan pride-Mahakumbh festival.” In another post, the Chief Minister said, ”Where there is a confluence of cultures, there is also a confluence of faith and harmony. Giving the message of ‘unity in diversity’, Maha Kumbh-2025, Prayagraj is introducing Sanatan along with the welfare of humanity.
