Fadnavis’ allegations about Bharat Jodo Yatra show failure of central government: Aditya Thackeray
Nagpur. Shiv Sena (Ubatha) leader Aditya Thackeray said that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ allegations about Congress’ ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ show that the central government has no information about terrorists active in the country. Fadnavis had on Thursday alleged that some organizations declared as front organizations of “urban Naxalites” during the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra and the Manmohan Singh government at the Center had participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Thackeray told reporters in the Vidhan Bhavan complex that Fadnavis’ claim about Bharat Jodo Yatra shows that the Union Home Ministry has no information about terrorists in the country. Thackeray said, “I want to make it clear that he (Fadnavis) was not making allegations against the Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) or any other organization or Bharat Jodo Yatra. He only wanted to say that the Union Home Ministry has failed in the last 10 years (at the Centre) or two-and-a-half years (in Maharashtra).” He said, “Because, if he (Fadnavis) has information about so many terrorists in our country or outside the country and the Home Minister is not aware of it, then his (Fadnavis’) allegations are directly against the Home Minister and not against the yatra.
