Modi government is preparing to collect more from Gabbar Singh Tax, Rahul Gandhi’s big allegation

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the central government’s tax policy. He has written a big post on X regarding this. Rahul claimed that the government is now going to introduce another new tax slab. He wrote in his post that see another example of exemption to capitalists and looting of common people. On one hand, income tax is continuously increasing compared to corporate tax. On the other hand, Modi government is preparing to collect more from Gabbar Singh Tax. Rahul Gandhi further wrote that it is being heard that amidst the continuously increasing collection from GST, the government is going to introduce a new tax slab – there is a plan to increase GST on the things you need. He said that just think – right now, the wedding season is going on. People must have been collecting money by saving every penny for a long time and in the meantime the government is going to increase GST from 12% to 18% on clothes above ₹ 1500. The Congress leader said that this is a grave injustice – the hard-earned money of poor and middle-class families is being looted through taxes in order to give tax exemptions to billionaires and waive off their huge debts. Our fight is against this injustice. We will strongly raise our voice against the burden of taxes on the common people and will put pressure on the government to stop this loot.
