Pramukh Swami Maharaj inspired millions of people, gave them courage: Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in Ahmedabad on Saturday that the late Pramukh Swami Maharaj of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) inspired millions of people and gave them the courage to face difficulties and work for the benefit of society. Shah said this at the workers’ conference of BAPS sect held at Narendra Modi Stadium, where thousands of volunteers were present. He said, Pramukh Swami Maharaj awakened the mantra of faith in the lives of millions of people, gave them the courage to face difficulties and inspired everyone to move forward with the aim of working for the society. Pramukh Swami Maharaj built more than 1200 temples in the country and abroad, from where people are imparting knowledge today. He said that the biggest contribution of Pramukh Swami Maharaj was to emphasize on culture. Shah said, it is not easy to inspire millions of volunteers for a goal. He inspired millions of volunteers to follow the same path not by his words but by his actions.
