BJP scared of number of beneficiaries of Jharkhand government’s welfare schemes: Kalpana Soren

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Kalpana Soren on Friday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scared of the increasing number of beneficiaries of various welfare schemes launched by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren-led government. She also alleged that the BJP camp hatched a conspiracy against the popular state government. Addressing a public meeting in Madhupur assembly constituency of Deoghar district, Kalpana, MLA from Gandey, said, “It is the Hemant (Soren) government which implemented the Sarvajan Pension Yojana and Mainiya Samman Yojana, which aim to economically empower women for the first time.” She said that 55 lakh women have already been covered under the Mainiya Samman Yojana and many more women will be brought under the scheme soon.
