JMM believes in dynastic politics, that’s why it gave tickets to Hemant Soren, wife and brother: Himanta

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) believes in dynastic politics, that’s why it has fielded party leader Hemant Soren, wife Kalpana Soren and brother Basant Soren in the election. In fact, JMM on Wednesday released its first list of 35 candidates for the Jharkhand assembly elections, which includes the names of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, wife Kalpana Soren and brother Basant. The Chief Minister of Assam has targeted the party over this list. Sharma is the co-in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party for the Jharkhand elections. Referring to the family ties between the candidates, he said, “JMM’s candidate list clearly reflects the politics of dynasty.” He taunted that JMM does not have diverse candidates and if needed, BJP can give additional candidates. He was referring to the leaders who recently joined JMM from BJP. Voting for the 81-member state assembly will be held on November 13 and 20 and the counting of votes will take place on November 23.
