Big news about Arvind Kejriwal’s new address, will vacate CM residence tomorrow
Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may vacate the CM residence on Friday. According to AAP, a house has been finalized for party convenor Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi area, where he will live with his family after vacating the official residence of Delhi Chief Minister on Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines. Earlier, according to sources, Kejriwal was expected to live with his family in one of the two official bungalows allotted to AAP’s Rajya Sabha MPs on Feroze Shah Road near Mandi House. Both bungalows are just a few meters away from the AAP headquarters located at Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane. Kejriwal, who resigned as Delhi Chief Minister earlier this month, said he would vacate the official Flagstaff Road residence during the Navratri period. The auspicious Hindu festival begins on Thursday. The party said in a statement without revealing the location of the new residence, “Kejriwal will leave the official CM residence in the next 1-2 days, as a house has been finalized for him and his family. Kejriwal will live in the new residence with his family. The Delhi constituency is represented by her in the Delhi Assembly. Notably, on September 17, Kejriwal had submitted his resignation from the post of chief minister to Delhi LG VK Saxena, following which Atishi staked claim to form the new government, days after the AAP chief was released on bail from Tihar jail in the excise policy case. Kejriwal said he will return to the post only if he gets a fresh mandate and a “certificate of integrity” from the people of Delhi in the assembly elections likely to be held in February 2025.
