AAP surrounded the central government on shooting of a doctor in the hospital

After Kolkata, a doctor has been shot dead in a hospital in Delhi too. Politics has started heating up on this matter. Regarding this incident, Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bhardwaj reacted on social media on Thursday to the incident of shooting a doctor inside the hospital premises. He alleged that this shocking incident happened due to the administrative failure of the central government and Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena and held them responsible for the rising crime in the national capital. He posted on the X handle, “Delhi has become the crime capital – gangsters are operating easily, there are extortion calls and firing and murders are happening daily. The central government and @LtGovDelhi have failed in their basic work for Delhi.” According to Delhi Police, a doctor was shot dead at Neema Hospital in Jaitpur of Kalindi Kunj police station area. CCTV footage and visuals are being examined to identify the accused. According to hospital staff, two men came to the hospital in an injured state; after getting bandaged, they demanded to meet the doctor and shot him as soon as he entered his cabin. Meanwhile, police are investigating the case and have launched a manhunt to nab the suspects. AAP’s Saurabh Bharadwaj had earlier also raised the issue of rising crime and gangster influence in the national capital. The Delhi minister posted on Twitter on October 2, “Gangsters have become more powerful in Delhi. A gym owner in Greater Kailash was shot dead 15 days ago. Gunshots were fired at three major places in 24 hours and everyone received ransom calls. Even AAP MLAs Sanjeev Jha and Ajay Dutt have been threatened by gangsters for ransom. They have been receiving threats for the last six months at the place where gunshots were fired a day ago. They also filed an FIR, but the police did not take any action.” Earlier in the day, Delhi MLAs had written to the LG expressing concern over the increasing incidents of extortion from traders in Delhi. They have sought an immediate meeting with the LG.
