Yogi government is protecting Bhole Baba in Hathras stampede case: Mayawati

Lucknow. BSP supremo wrote on social media on Thursday, October 3, that 121 people died in the satsang stampede incident in Hathras on July 2, most of whom were women and children. The absence of Bhole Baba’s name in the charge sheet filed in the court after the investigation of this incident is anti-people politics, which proves that such people have the protection of the state government. Terming it unfair, she further wrote that according to the media, 11 sevadars have been made accused in the 2300-page charge sheet regarding this painful incident of Sikandrarao. But is the silence of the government about Baba Surajpal justified as before? Will it be possible to prevent such incidents in future with such a government attitude. The general public is worried about this. Bahujan Samaj Party’s national president and former Chief Minister Mayawati has alleged that due to the protection of the state government, the name of Suraj Pal Singh alias Bhole Baba is not in the charge sheet of Hathras case. Let us tell you that after the Hathras incident, BSP first demanded action by investigating the role of Bhole Baba. In the Hathras stampede case, on July 2, an FIR was registered under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 110 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), 126 (2) (wrongful restraint), 223 (disobedience to order promulgated by public servant) and 238 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code. In September, the Allahabad High Court granted conditional interim bail to two women accused in the case. The names of these women are Manju Devi and Manju Yadav. However, 9 accused are still in custody. Earlier, the SIT investigating the case had submitted its report on the deaths in the stampede. After this, 6 police officers were suspended. These officers include Circle Officer Sikandar Rao, Anand Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ravindra Kumar, Tehsildar Sushil Kumar and two sub-inspectors Manveer Singh and Brijesh Pandey. These people were found guilty of negligence in duty. However, the SIT has not raised any question on Surajpal Singh alias Bhole Baba in its report. Today, the police filed a 3200 page charge sheet regarding that accident. In which 11 people have been made accused, including the organizer of the program Dev Prakash Madhukar and others. But Bhole Baba’s name is not there in that charge sheet.
