Have received many offers to become PM: Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said he has received offers to become PM several times before and after the Lok Sabha elections. Gadkari made this statement at the ‘India Today Conclave’ when he was asked if he could elaborate on his comment in which he had said that a leader of an opposition party had offered support if he took over as PM. He said, “I have received such offers several times, before and after the Lok Sabha elections.” Avoiding the question whether Gadkari had received an offer to become PM after the results of the Lok Sabha elections in June, the Union Minister said that he was leaving it to the media persons to interpret it. He said, “I will not compromise on my ideology. There was no question of accepting the offer. And becoming the Prime Minister is not my goal…
