BJP bringing in hypocrites to mislead people in Jharkhand: Soren
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Kalpana Soren on Thursday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and accused it of bringing in “hypocrites” to the state to mislead people ahead of the assembly elections. Addressing a rally at Baharagora in Purbi Singhbhum district, Kalpana Soren also said that the BJP has “surrendered” in front of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s courage. Welcoming a large number of women who turned up at the rally amid heavy rains, the Gandey MLA said the monetary assistance under the ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’ is being duly deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. She said, “Be it rain or cyclone, our efforts for the honor and self-respect of our sisters will not stop.” Later, in a post on ‘X’, Kalpana Soren said, “BJP has surrendered in front of Hemant’s courage, that is why hypocrites from different states have come to Jharkhand and are engaged in spreading hatred and misleading people.” Assembly elections are to be held in Jharkhand by the end of this year.
