He said that with determination and strategy, the country can overcome this problem. Shah today addressed a meeting on the drug scenario in Chhattisgarh at a hotel in Nava Raipur. During this, Shah emphasized on four formulas of detecting drugs, destroying the network, detaining the criminal and rehabilitating drug addicts to achieve success in the fight against illegal drug trade. Shah said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to make the country drug-free by the year 2047, when the 100th year of the country’s independence will be celebrated. Gradually this resolution has become the resolution of 130 crore population. I believe that the resolution of drug-free India is very important in making a prosperous, safe and glorious India. He said, “Illegal drug trade is not only a challenge for India, but it is an international problem. I believe that there is a greater need to make people aware of this in the country. If we fight with determination and strategy, we can win this battle. I have no hesitation in saying that many countries have lost their battle against it.
