Mamata went to the house of the victim’s family

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed concern over the alleged rape-murder case of a medical student at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. She said that this is a very painful incident. Whoever is involved in this case should be punished immediately. She further said that we want the hearing of this case to be expedited because then the judicial process will be faster. I am surprised that there were nurses in the hospital, there was security in the hospital and yet this incident happened. I have told the police. Mamata Banerjee said that the victim’s parents have also said that someone is involved from inside. We have removed the Principal, MSVP, HOD and ASP from this hospital. We have deployed dog squad, video department, forensic department to investigate the matter. After this, she said that if the Kolkata Police is unable to solve the case by Sunday… then we will hand it over to the CBI. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday went to the house of the female doctor of RG Kar Hospital and talked to her parents and family members, whose body was found in a semi-naked state in the hospital.
