Politics is going on continuously regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 brought by the Central Government. At present it has been sent to the JPC. However, the statement of NCP chief Ajit Pawar regarding this can increase the tension of BJP. Addressing the NCP Jan Samman Yatra in Dhule, Ajit Pawar said that the central government has come up with a new bill (Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024). This bill has been sent to the JPC which includes MPs of both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar further said that the NCP has decided that if you have any concern about this bill, we will listen to you. He clearly said that we will not let any injustice happen to the minorities. I appeal to all of you not to believe any rumor. We will not let injustice happen to anyone. Along with this, he said that we have come up with a new Ladli Behna Yojana for the women of the state. The women of the state have faith in the NCP. Elections will be held in November and a new government will be formed in December. We have to continue this scheme further. So I request all of you to support the Mahayuti and its respective MLA candidates. Pawar said that we have decided that from this academic year, the college education of EWS and backward class women will be fully sponsored. On August 8, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar started his Jan Samman Yatra from Dindori in Nashik. It is an ambitious campaign that will cover most parts of the state and will continue till the assembly elections in October. The main focus of the yatra is on 70-80 constituencies where the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) wants to contest, with a special emphasis on women voters.
