Pawan Kalyan appeals to UN Human Rights Council to protect minorities in Bangladesh

Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Monday appealed to the United Nations Human Rights Council to protect minorities in the wake of chaos in Bangladesh after the fall of the government. Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan called for the safety of minorities like Hindus, Christians, Buddhists and Ahmadis in the neighboring country. He said in a post on ‘X’, “I appeal to the United Nations Human Rights, United Nations Human Rights Council and the High Commission of Bangladesh in India to take immediate necessary action and restore peace and order in the neighboring country.” Praying for the safety, protection and stability of all minorities in the neighboring country, the Jana Sena chief said that the recent scenes and pictures from Bangladesh are heartbreaking and worrying. Citing the alleged murder of Bangladesh Communist Party leader Pradeep Bhowmik by stabbing and vandalism in Hindu temples, Kalyan expressed his pain and concern.
