Yogi Adityanath also admitted that ‘our’ overconfidence proved costly

Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath finally broke his silence and admitted that overconfidence has hurt our expectations. The opposition, which had earlier accepted defeat and sat down, is again making a lot of noise today. Yogi said these things in the presence of BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda. While counting the reasons for the defeat, Yogi did not clarify who was responsible for it, but he said a lot in hints. The question is whether Yogi is objecting to the slogan ‘Dilli se nikle 400 paar’ or is he angry with the way the Center did not allow his scheme of changing candidates to be implemented, because the biggest reason being cited for BJP’s defeat is that BJP has lost due to its own actions. Yogi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, we have maintained constant pressure on the opposition while achieving great success in the state in 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022, the party has been successful in getting the same percentage of votes in 2024 as the BJP got in 2014 and subsequent elections, but the shifting of votes and overconfidence have hurt our expectations. He encouraged them and said that in any situation, BJP workers do not need to come on the backfoot, because you have done your job well. In the state executive committee meeting, Yogi said that today with your cooperation we have succeeded in making the state mafia free. He said that everyone has to be active from now on for the assembly by-elections to be held on 10 seats in the state and the 2027 assembly elections. Accusing the SP, the Chief Minister said that the medical college of Kannauj was named after Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. The then Chief Minister of SP changed its name. After our government came to power, we again named it after Baba Saheb. SP has always insulted Dalit thinkers and great men. These people worked to break into the reservation of Scheduled Castes. They stopped scholarships for SCs. The opposition has tried to spoil the atmosphere by spreading rumours and confusion.
