Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu creating an atmosphere of fear: Jagan Mohan Reddy
Nellore. YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of creating fear in the minds of those who did not vote for him. The former chief minister also alleged that people who did not vote for Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) were being targeted across the state, their properties destroyed, physical attacks against them and false cases registered against them. “All over the state, just because some people did not vote for TDP and Naidu, their properties are being destroyed and false cases are being registered. They (ruling party workers) are beating up their opponents (YSRCP supporters) and filing cases against the victims,” Jagan Mohan Reddy told reporters outside the Nellore Central Jail. Reddy met Yuvajana Sramika Raithu Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Ramakrishna Reddy in the central prison. Ramakrishna Reddy is in jail for attacking a police inspector in Karampudi village on May 14. He was also booked for breaking EVMs in Macherla Assembly constituency on polling day (on May 13). Besides, the opposition YSRCP leader alleged that statues of late YS Rajashekar Reddy were being vandalised.
