Now there will be justice instead of punishment, know from the Home Minister of the country what has changed in the criminal law

Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah addressed a press conference at the Parliament Library in New Delhi. All the three new laws have come into force in the country from today i.e. July 1 and regarding this, the Home Minister said that I want to congratulate the people of the country that after 77 years of independence, the criminal justice system is becoming completely indigenous and will run on the basis of Indian Ethos. These laws were considered after 75 years. When these laws start working in every police station from today, then the laws made by the British will be repealed and the laws made in the Parliament of India will come. Amit Shah said that justice will replace punishment, speedy trial and speedy justice will be given instead of delay and earlier only the rights of the police were protected, now the rights of the victims and complainants will be protected. With this new perspective, these three laws have been implemented in the country. We have included it in the law as an explanation, so that the investigations that will be done in the future are also interpreted. This will become the most modern justice system in the world. I am confident of this. The process of computerization has been completed. 99.9 percent of police stations have been computerized. Amit Shah said that earlier the police took someone away, the family members had to come to the court. Now we have made it mandatory that there will be a register in every police station. There will also be an e-register to know which criminal is in police custody. There will be a huge benefit in giving the investigation report in 90 days.
