Kangana’s taunt on Vikramaditya

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha seat Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday termed her Congress rival Vikramaditya Singh as a “spoiled prince”, saying perhaps her mother did not teach her to respect women. Himachal Pradesh minister Singh is the son of six-time state Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Mandi MP and state Congress chief Pratibha Singh. Ranaut claimed in an election rally that Vikramaditya Singh had said that “the temples I (Ranaut) visited will have to be purified.” Ranaut said, “The spoiled prince does not know what respect for women is. Perhaps his mother Pratibha Singh did not teach him to respect women. Voting will be held on June 1 for all the four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh. By-elections will also be held on six assembly seats vacant after the disqualification of Congress MLAs.
