We disagree with the High Court’s decision to reject the bail pleas of Manish Sisodia: AAP
After Manish Sisodia’s bail pleas were rejected in the excise case, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said it expresses its “respectful disagreement” with the High Court’s decision and is demanding “justice” for the former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister. Will go to the Supreme Court with the demand. The High Court on Tuesday rejected the bail pleas of Sisodia in money laundering and corruption cases registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) respectively in connection with the alleged liquor scam. Delhi Minister Atishi said in the press conference that the excise policy issue is a “political conspiracy” of the BJP. He said, “We respect the High Court but we respectfully disagree with its decision. This alleged liquor scam is a political conspiracy hatched by BJP. This is a political conspiracy to attack AAP and crush the party.” Atishi alleged, ”This conspiracy was hatched when BJP could not defeat AAP in the electoral battle in Delhi and Punjab.
