We want to move towards women-led development initiatives: Jayant Chaudhary

Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) said that the ‘Swavalambani Mahila Udyamita Program’ is an initiative aimed at empowering young women with the skills and confidence required to set up their own businesses. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in collaboration with NITI Aayog launched the program at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Auditorium of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, which is an important step towards strengthening women entrepreneurship in India. Jayant Chaudhary inaugurated the program. In his address, Chaudhary said that we want to move beyond programs that list women as beneficiaries of schemes. We want to move towards women-led development initiatives and this is also the vision of our Prime Minister.
