Diversity is contained in unity, said Mohan Bhagwat in RSS program in Bengal
Bardhaman (West Bengal). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday stressed the importance of embracing the diversity of the world and said that Hindu society believes that diversity is contained in unity. Addressing an RSS program at Sai Ground in Bardhaman, Bhagwat said that there is a need for unity in Hindu society and challenges will remain even in good times. He said, ‘We need to unite and organize Hindu society. What is the nature of the problems is not important, rather it matters how prepared we are to face them.’ The West Bengal Police had earlier refused to give permission to hold the rally. After this, the rally is being organized after getting approval from the Calcutta High Court. Bhagwat said that the country was not built by the British. He said that India is not united, this feeling was put in the minds of the people by the British.
