‘I work for the people, I don’t pay attention to critics’, Ajit Pawar said on Tanaji Sawant’s statement

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP President Ajit Pawar on Saturday tried to reduce the controversy over Shiv Sena minister Tanaji Sawant’s remarks against his party, saying that he works for the people and does not pay attention to critics. At the same time, on the statement of BJP spokesperson Ganesh Hek, he said that we have discussed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Devendra Fadnavis. Who is speaking below. Do not emphasize much on this. Ganesh Hek had targeted the Ajit Pawar faction’s NCP and said that the NCP should leave the Mahayuti alliance. A leader of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena said that he started vomiting due to his party’s proximity to the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and called it an allergic reaction. Shiv Sena leader Tanaji Sawant stirred up a controversy when he said that he never agreed with the NCP throughout his life. He compared his relationship with the NCP to “sitting on their lap but feeling nauseous as soon as I get up”. Speaking at an event, Tanaji Sawant had said, “I am a Shiv Sainik. It is true that in my life I have never got along with the Congress or the NCP. It is like an allergic reaction, where the mere presence causes discomfort and nausea. The ideologies are completely different, so it is not possible to agree with them.” He further said, “Even when I sit with NCP chief Ajit Pawar in the cabinet, as soon as I step out, I feel like vomiting. This is something that cannot be tolerated and at the age of 60, it is not tolerated. Something that cannot be changed. We are committed to our principles.”
