Manish Sisodia offered prayers at a temple in Chandni Chowk

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia offered prayers at the Gauri Shankar temple in Chandni Chowk on the auspicious occasion of Shravan month on Monday and said that he has no animosity towards anyone. Sisodia, who came out of Tihar Jail on Friday after getting bail from the Supreme Court in the case related to the alleged Delhi Excise Policy scam, reached the Gauri Shankar temple on Monday morning to worship Lord Shiva. Sisodia told PTI Video, “Lord Shiva is a symbol of love. Those who have Lord Shiva in their hearts cannot have hatred towards others. I sought blessings that I too should keep seeing Lord Shiva in every particle.” Sisodia, a prominent AAP leader, has started preparations for the Delhi Assembly elections to be held early next year as soon as he came out of jail. He will hold a meeting with party MLAs on Monday to discuss the political situation in Delhi. Sisodia will also take out a padyatra on August 14 to meet the people of the national capital.
