Big thing said about the Finance Minister in the tweet

Former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Tuesday praised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for announcing some similar schemes in view of the 2024 general elections, which were promised by the Congress in its manifesto. Addressing the X, the Congress leader wrote, “I am happy to know that the Hon’ble Finance Minister has read the Congress Manifesto 2024 after the election results, I am happy that she has virtually adopted the Employment-Linked Incentive (ELI) mentioned on page 30 of the Congress Manifesto.” The Congress leader also said that I am also happy that she has introduced the Apprenticeship Scheme along with the allowance for every apprentice mentioned on page 11 of the Congress Manifesto. He took a dig at Finance Minister Sitharaman and said, “I wish the Finance Minister had copied some other ideas in the Congress Manifesto. I will soon list the missed opportunities.” In another post, he expressed happiness over the Centre’s decision to abolish angel tax. He mentioned that the Congress has been advocating its abolition for many years, most recently on page 31 in the Congress manifesto. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday criticised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s Union Budget, saying it was aimed at appeasing BJP allies and “cronies”. The Congress leader called the document a “kursi sakao” budget and alleged that it was copied from the Congress party’s Lok Sabha election manifesto. “Kursi sakao” budget,” Rahul wrote on Xpost. “Hollow promises were made to allies at the cost of other states to appease them. Our friends were appeased, ‘AA’ was given benefits, but no relief was given to the common Indian,” Rahul Gandhi posted on ‘X’. “Congress manifesto and past few budgets have been ‘copied-pasted’,” he alleged. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said this budget is just a copy-paste of the budget It is for two people…they (BJP government) make a lot of promises but nothing happens. He also claimed that this is a ‘copycat budget’ in which the government has not been able to properly copy the Congress’s ‘Nyay’ agenda. Kharge posted on ‘X’, “The copycat budget of Modi government could not even properly copy the Congress’s Nyay agenda! The Modi government’s budget is distributing half-hearted freebies to cheat its alliance partners so that the NDA survives. This is not a budget for the country’s progress, it is a Modi government bachao budget.” He said that after 10 years, limited announcements have been made for the youth who are bearing the slogan of two crore jobs annually.
