NDA government will be formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi: Amit Shah

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Wednesday elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its leader, setting the stage for him to return as PM for a record third time. The alliance leaders held a crucial meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence to discuss details on the formation of the government. After this meeting, Amit Shah tweeted, “Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji on being unanimously elected the leader of the NDA. The last 10 years have turned out to be an era of massive development and welfare under the visionary leadership of Modi ji. The NDA is firmly committed to serving the country and its people with new strength and momentum.” A release said that during the meeting of NDA leaders at PM Modi’s residence 7, LKM in Delhi, all the leaders congratulated PM Modi for his leadership and the progress our country has made under his leadership. They appreciated PM Modi’s hard work and efforts in nation building. NDA allies said that PM Modi has a clear vision for a developed India. He praised PM Modi’s role in increasing India’s pride in the world. The NDA leaders appreciated PM Modi’s efforts towards poverty alleviation and vowed to continue the good work. PM Modi said that this is a historic mandate for the third consecutive government which India last got 60 years ago. The NDA allies’ meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence included Bihar CM and JDU chief Nitish Kumar, Telugu Desam Party (TDP)’s Chandrababu Naidu, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP)’s Chirag Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD)’s Jayant Chaudhary, HD Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Anupriya Patel, Eknath Shinde, besides BJP’s top leadership including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda and others. Sources said that after the meeting with NDA MPs on June 7, the NDA allies will meet President Draupadi Murmu. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda will discuss government formation with the allies. JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha said that an NDA meeting was held at the PM residence, in which the CM (Nitish Kumar) also participated. Everyone expressed their views and thanked the people for the mandate given to the NDA for the third time. Soon a government will be formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi and soon a meeting of all the MPs will be held.
